The Opportunity
We are partnering with a market-leading Australian manufacturer of high-performance architectural systems. They partner with architects and builders to deliver sustainable, compliant solutions for the modern built environment.
We are seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to spearhead their specification activity across South East Queensland. In this role, you will be the bridge between design concept and construction, ensuring their premium systems are the first choice for the region’s most iconic projects.
Your Responsibilities
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep connections with architects, designers, and façade consultants across SEQ.
- Project Influence: Drive specifications within the commercial, multi-residential, and mixed-use sectors.
- Technical Advisory: Act as a subject matter expert on NCC compliance, sustainability, and system performance.
- Industry Engagement: Deliver CPD presentations and product updates to major design firms and industry bodies.
- Pipeline Tracking: Manage projects through the specification lifecycle to ensure successful conversion to supply.
- Internal Collaboration: Work alongside national technical and sales teams to provide a seamless client experience.
About You
You are a technically confident professional who thrives in a consultative, relationship-driven environment. To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Industry Experience: A proven track record in specification or technical sales within the construction sector.
- Product Knowledge: A strong understanding of architectural window and door systems or related building envelope products.
- Regulatory Literacy: Solid knowledge of NCC compliance and performance requirements.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to engage top-tier stakeholders.
- Autonomy: A proactive, organized approach with the ability to manage your own territory effectively.
